You can refer to our website for some of our most recent engagement photography sessions. Our style is quite classic and we shoot in a fun manner. A photo tour typically last 1, 3 or 4 hours depending on your needs. We are very open to any suggestions you may have. The four hours package can be split in two half days so that we can go to Versailles in the afternoon for exemple to capture some twilight and evening shots.

Olivier is highly skilled and very efficient, so that you and your partner get the most out of your portrait session. The whole process is intended to be fun and relaxed, and best thought of as a romantic stroll for both of you to enjoy. We shoot mostly throughout Isle St. Louis to Notre Dame, bridges along the Seine, St. Michel, Pont Neuf, Le Louvre, place de la Concorde, place Vendôme and are of course very open to any suggestions, ideas or comments you may have. Each engagement photo session is quite unique, we make sure that we capture this very important moment in the most charming way.

Do you travel in Europe for a private photo shoot?

We are based from Paris and specialize in destination wedding photography and video services in France. Having said that Paris  is located three hours from London, same for Geneva, a few hours to Provence and the south of France. So YES, we do travel for your pre wedding photo session should you wish to have it done in the E.U. We have different option for a Paris photo session and a day rate for anywhere else in Europe. We do love traveling and meeting new clients. We just photographed a pre-wedding photo session in Geneva and another one in Marrakech! It is a lot of fun to do, we do work in a relaxed manner and will make you laugh.

Can you describe your couples photo session in Paris?

Our Paris pre-wedding photo shoot, engagement and private portraits are fun and shot in a relaxed manner. We are fast and efficient with tons of experience to make the afternoon memorable. We are of course open to any suggestions and ideas you may have. We usually meet our clients at their hotel and grab a taxi to go to the Isle St Louis where we would start the photo shoot. From the Isle St Louis, we can walk across to the lock bridge, the Seine and Notre Dame. From there we can pop over to the Louvres and Tuilerie garden as well as Place de la Concorde and some of the large avenues such as rue de Rivoli and rue de Castiglione leading to the National Opera. We feel that 4 1/2 hours is the right amount of time to have a large pallet of beautiful images with Paris in the background.  Note that the eiffel tower is a bit out of the way and often requires transportation. We have three different pre-wedding photo packages in Paris, from one hour 1/2 to four 1/2 hours photo tour which can be split into two 1/2 days. We can easily incorporate a change of clothes should you wish, there are plenty of cafés where you can get changed.

How do you approach your Paris portrait session?

Not everyone is confident in front of the camera. Our job is to quickly make you feel at ease with your photographer. I will help you with poses but most important we will have some fun and you will quickly forget you are being photographed.The most important is to make you feel at ease, be yourself and enjoy the moment with your partner. The aim is to create timeless images with beautiful Paris in the background. We would take you for a romantic walk along the streets of the city from the main landmark sites to our favorite hidden places. It is a casual and happy few hours that you will spend with your photographer. We will guide you along the way with a few poses but mainly shoot in a photojournalistic style where you enjoy the beauty of the surrounding and your love for each other.

What should we bring and how should we dress?

Your Paris photo tour wether pre-wedding, engagement or family portraits are a special event that commemorate your love for each other. It is the occasion to dress up. High heel, a little dress, suit for your man and may be a matching tie. Think matching colors, simple is best. Wear something comfortable though, stylish and SEXY, Yes! Do not forget another pair of walking shoes for longer session. You might want to change as well at some point. We can do that in a cafe along the way. Remember it is a walking tour, it is better not to carry unnecessary bags because I often shoot along the way and you want your hands free to hug and hold each other hands.

Could you recommend vendors such as hair and make up artists, car service and dress rental?

We work with well trusted and established hair and make up artists in Paris who have worked in the industry for numerous years from editorials, to commercials, CD covers … I would be more then happy to put you in touch directly with them so that you can arrange for such services directly at your hotel. We can help out with organizing a car service as well if you would rather be driven around during part or the whole time of the shoot.

What is the best timing for your photo tour in Paris.

Depending on the season, the best light to shoot outside may vary. It is always best to shoot early morning or towards the end of the afternoon to optimize the quality of the final photographs. You may want some sunset or evening shots as well in which case we should fine tune our timing to finish when the sun goes down. In summer the days are longer therefore we might finish around 10pm and winter, days being shorter I would normally shoot in the afternoon when the streets are quieter.

Do you only offer walking tour of the city?

We are open to any suggestions you may have. We can walk around the city to chosen locations. Our three hours package is perfect for a couple who wants to enjoy Paris walking around the city while they are having their engagement photo shoot. I usually take my clients along the seine where you will find a lot of the most exiting Parisian landmarks. I would recommend that you take some sneakers with you just in case. It is an easy walk but resting your feet here and there might be necessary depending on the option you chose. We can always grab a taxi which sometimes takes a little waiting but is necessary if you wish to go to the eiffel tower for example. An average taxi fare is around €10. Again, for a 4 hour photo session and in case you wish to go to locations such as Montmartre, the Eiffel tower and the Luxembourg garden for example, you may want to opt for a luxury car service. We can split the shooting into two 1/2 days as well. I would be more then happy to arrange a driver who will drive us around town for you.

What about the weather?

Woody Allen says that Paris is the most beautiful city when it rains! Little drizzle may occur.
In case of light rain, I good looking umbrella will help and it is great to use as a prop in any case and YES Paris can be gorgeous with a little rain. There are many places we can shelter and keep on shooting like arcades and passages. I will always check on the weather forecast the day before your engagement photos so that we are fully prepared. In case of heavy rain, we can always take a break and have a coffee or possibly reschedule to the next day.

When and how do we get the photos of the day?

I always make a point that you get the selected & edited photos within 10 days of the photo shoot. I will send you a link so that you can download the high resolution files directly to your desktop. At the same time we will give you a link where you can order your prints directly from our lab. It takes three weeks to get your print order shipped to your home address.

How do you process the photos?

Once the editing is done, I process the edited photographs one after the other in photoshop so that I can enhance the tones, contrast and colors and make sure that every photo you get is perfect and ready to print. You may want some black and white as well and it is just a matter of letting me know before hand. Again some clients may request only black and white photos and it is not a problem at all. the files will be delivered to you in high definition so that you can do some large size prints with the best quality.

Do you offer printing services and table books?

We work with professional labs and book binders. Although you have the high resolution files that allow you to do the printing later on when you get back home, you might request that we take care of of making of a special photo album for you.  We have a selection of classic and elegant coffee table books with a linen or leather cover that come in different sizes for your Paris memories. Our photo albums are the ideal way to show friends and family and look back on some of the best memories of your life.
