Paris spring elopement with Nhu & Norman and gorgeous Amelia who flew all the way from Australia to get married in Paris. Wedding planner from WeddingLight events planned their elopement.
A few words from our lovely bride:
“Just wanted to drop you a brief email to say THANKS for everything! Our wedding was amazing and It was perfect for us! Olivier was awesome and we can’t wait to see the pics!! Christina was also fantastic with Amelia! And Amelia loved her!
Shame about the cherry blossom trees but Olivier made it work! The quiet street we got married at was really cute and Igor was great too! We loved his words!
Norman was very impressed in the end so as long as he is happy then we have both done a great job! Haha. But it was mainly all you!
Thanks again for organising everything, we are both so happy with how everything turned out…sorry I was meant to email you the day after but I kept forgetting because we have so much on every day and I’m constantly distracted by Amelia! She’s asleep now so I actually have a spare 2 minutes to write this email before I also fall asleep!
And thanks again to Olivier! We absolutely loved him! So excited to see all our pictures!
Everything was perfect.
Nhu & Norman and Amelia”
I knew i wanted to be a photographer while I lived in London on the 80’s. I was studying comparative literature and saw three different photo exhibitions in a row. The first one was a retrospective of Irvin Pen, then I discovered the work of Willian Claxton and Mary Hellen Mark. I still vividly remember the flow of emotions I experienced at the time contemplating the work of three different master of contemporary photography. I soon purchased my first camera and after a B.A in visual art, never turned back. Today Mary Hellen Mark passed out. I met her in Cooney Island while I was working on a beach story in NYC. She was dressed in black, I remember her long dark hair flowing in the wind and the way she moved along the shoreline.
It is a sad day, she is a main inspiration in my photographic career.
A great article in Time magazine.
Paris stylish photo session with Scott and Innis who flew from Singapore for their Parisian adventure. As always it is with great pleasure that I spent the afternoon with this adorable couple. They will be getting married in Paris later on this year. Engagement portraits are a wonderful way to get to know your photographer + it is certainly a lot of fun to do! Paris is such a beautiful background for couple photography. So if you are in love, get in touch, it is always a pleasure to meet new friends.
