There are so many gorgeous luxury hotels in Paris where one might dream of having their wedding! The Shangri-La is certainly one of those. Gorgeous decor and impeccable service with a €17,000 suite over looking the Eiffel tower. It is hard to resist such grand decor! I have to say as a photographer, the Shangri-La is a blessing. It is a gorgeous backdrop for classic wedding photography. The staff is always very attentionate and making sure that the photographer gets what he wants. We had a blast, of course I do love the suite. I could have spend the afternoon taking some photographs of my couple up there. Lovely day in beautiful Paris with a great team!

Georges and Susie eloped to Paris and I had the great pleasure to spend a few hours with the both of them. Our team at WeddingLight Events fine tuned every little details of their most wonderful day in the city of Love. The weather was gorgeous! We travelled around this beautiful city for a few hours of photo shoot. From the Seine, to the Louvres, place de la Concorde and the Tuilerie gardens we had a blast. They were ever so happy to be getting married in Paris. Both of them looked gorgeous, classic tuxido from Givenchi for Georges, Susie worn a beautiful wedding gown from Oscar de la Renta who happens to be one of my favorite designer I had the pleasure to photograph in NYC on a few occasions. Here is a little selection of the many photographs taken during the day. Congratulation to the both of them, it was simply very nice to meet in Paris.

Elizabeth and Paul are fashion designer and film director in L.A. Both studied in Paris and fall in Love discussing French cinema and trends in a Paris café! That sets the decorum! They moved back to L.A, dated. The years passed and they decided to come back to Paris to celebrate their wedding at the Crillon. “WOW” yes I know isnt that a fairy tale come true! Beautiful summer afternoon in gorgeous Paris with friends and family who flew from the U.S for the occasion. From the getting ready in a classic Paris apartment in the 6th to the American church for the ceremony, a cruise in Paris for the afternoon photo shoot and the evening at the Crillon, we had a blast. Here are a few of the many photos taken on the day. Some fun time with a great bunch!

Every little girls dream is to be a princess. I see it on the streets of Paris with my couples when we pass by one of those little princess in the making. You always get those mesmerizing looks in their eyes. Well Jacqueline’s dream came true when she married her prince at the Georges V. The wedding was ” FAB ” what else can I say! Everyone flew from the states, mainly NYC and Chicago, friends from College and family for most of them, first time in Paris. Jacquelyn had two wedding gown, two bouquet and three wedding cakes to choose from. It was a long day of cheers, laughters, some tears and a lot of  “WOW” as well. There are so many beautiful luxury hotel  in Paris such as the Shangri-La, Meurice, The Ritz and of course the Georges V where we had the ceremony and reception. Being a wedding photographer in the city of Love is my dream come true!

Beautiful everything from “WeddingLight Events” of course!

I had a gorgeous day or should I say we all had a gorgeous day from the crack of dawn to the crack of dawn again … The wedding finished at the V.I.P club, rue de Rivoli. We danced away to some rocking musics. The French love their brides. With a beautiful bride in the club, the dance floor went nuts. So congratulation to my couple, friends and family as well who were all so sweet and happy to be in Paris.

Gorgeous couple from Sweden getting married at the Chapel Expiatoire followed by a reception at the Georges V in Paris. A beautiful summer, a lot of style and elegance in the streets of Paris as always. Loving every little moments of being a wedding photographer in Paris. It does rock! I do not think anywhere else you do get to play around with such a grand architecture and diverse landscape. From the Seine, to the Eiffel tower, The Louvres and the Tuilerie gardens for a playground, i often feel blessed!
