Gorgeous intimate Parisian wedding that I photographed in september and finally have a little time to post on the blog. Happy, young, and so much in love! Lovely day in Paris at the wedding of Ipek and Jean Baptiste who married at the town hall in the 5th arrondissement.I do love Paris! It is a gold mine for photographs. Anywhere you go, is a source of inspiration for some new wedding images. The ceremony was a step away from the Luxembourg garden which we made our first destination, then onto the seine and isle saint Louis, Notre Dame, Le Louvres and so on over three hours of constant shooting. Gorgeous day in Paris with such a nice couple full of energy and excitement.

Beautiful intimate wedding in Paris.

I lived in Australia for a few years. I loved it there only I know how far it is to travel the world all the way to Europe. It does take a fair amount of determination. Sara and Zaid flew all the way from New Zealand with their families to celebrate their intimate wedding in Paris again. Again yes, because they had a big party in New Zealand just before leaving. They loved it so much that they wanted a “part two“ somehow more intimate with parents and siblings this time in Paris. Both their dad studied engineering in Paris a long time ago and they grew up with stories of Paris in the 60’s, fairy tales of some sort so that one day they decided to finally visit and decided to bring both families along while they were going to get married in the city of Love!  It was a day of sheer happiness that i so gladly shared with everyone. They had an informal ceremony in front of the Eiffel tower and we went around the city for some photos. Sara and Zaid were all bubbly and you could see the excitement and joy in their eyes . We had a great time traveling the streets of Paris  looking for the perfect spot to take some portraits of the two of them, kissing and hugging like young lovers do. Marco from WeddingLight produced a little video clip of the afternoon with a great soundtrack.

A few words from our dear clients: “All the way from New Zealand, I contacted WeddingLight events to help organize my wedding celebration in Paris. The team replied to my emails promptly and answered any questions I had. On our wedding day, we met with Olivier and Marco for the photography. First, we had family portraits then after we left the family and went for our photo shoot with Olivier. Olivier was very energetic and full of creative ideas, he made us feel like super stars on the day. He went that extra mile to capture important moments and delivered professional and amazing photos. Overall we had a fantastic time filled with joy and laughter. Thank you to WedddingLight events and Olivier and Marco for a unforgettable day!!!!“

I was looking at some of our Paris wedding videos that we shot for our international clients this past season. Jan and Jeremy contacted us from San Diego, California, land of eternal sunshine; a long way away from now cold Paris. They engaged in Paris, flew back numerous times being both in love with each other and the beauty of the city. We first met on their last trip while they were planning their destination wedding in Paris. We had a great time over a cup of coffee and a few month later we not only photographed their wedding but also produced their wedding video.

WeddingLight Events planned their wedding day in Paris. They married on a beautiful boat crusing on the river seine with a little group of family and friends who improvised a dance hall party along the way with an i-phone and speaker. The best man officiated the wedding ceremony with grace and emotion. Everyone cried, I must have shed a tear or two as well. We sneaked out for a few hours in an old Citroen traction, traveling the streets of Paris looking for the perfect shot, from Notre Dame to the Eiffel tower until we reached the Isle Saint Louis for the wedding reception. The wedding video we produced certainly brings back lots of happy memories of their wedding day.

Our professional mission as filmmakers as well as photographer is to redefine what makes a great wedding documentary. We see every wedding as a work of art, whether we document the day with photography or moving images, and our clients as close friends who have given us the privilege of telling the story of the best day of their lives with our art and passion.
WeddingLight aims at creating a flawlessly executed wedding video that not only, yourself but friends and family will enjoy for decades.
I have always been driven to document the things that give life meaning. Becoming a visual artist made me someone who sees the world with wonder. Every wedding celebrations we document in France whether intimate for a few hours or larger productions over the whole week end are unique and all so very moving.
It is such a privilege and of course a big responsibility to have the task to record our clients very special day in France.
We do love stories as much as we love hearing them. More often than not, we find ourselves chasing down the emotions, the tears, small details and the love shared by our couples, their friends and family on such a special day, with a camera and our hearts, to put those unique wedding stories on film.
I’ve always been captivated by the classic black and white hollywood movies, the shiny things that you can find in everyday’s life; gorgeous lights, larger then life vistas, compelling moods, shiny colors,  amazing stories, the most intricate human souls, vintage cameras and sports cars! . There’s a romantic feeling to daily life which one might miss, unless you open your eyes and go looking for it. Being a videographer, a wedding photographer in Paris and being able to document your very special wedding day with stills or moving images is a wonderful way to connect with people and share the most amazing stories of their life.
I have to say that every wedding we are being part of is the most touching wedding we had ever taken. It is a great privilege to document one couple wedding day and we are so grateful to our past clients and now friends who have given us the opportunity of being part of their elopement, intimate celebration and large wedding day in France.

I hope that you will enjoy the wedding celebration of Jan and Jeremy in Paris as much as we had fun being part of it with our curious eyes.

Gorgeous Paris intimate wedding celebration with Clare and Christopher with a wedding ceremony at the chapel Expiatoire. WeddingLight photographed and did the video clip for the elopement of Clare and Christopher’s wedding back in September. We have been so busy here in Paris, only now we are trying to catch up with our recents weddings. WeddingLight Events planned their day down to every little details in Paris. Christopher is a Hong Kong photographer. It is always very nice to be trusted by a colleague specially when it comes down to the photography and video of his wedding day. We met a few days before the wedding for a pre-wedding photo session around the Louvres to warm up. Clare and Christopher were in Paris for the first time; they were overjoyed and so exited!

Their intimate wedding had been planned for a few months by WeddingLight Events. Great team of professionals participated in making this intimate wedding a total success as always! Hair and make up by my friends Fred and Murielle, Estelle put together such a romantic little bouquet for our bride and Marco, our videographer from WeddingLight produced a gorgeous video full of life and romance with Paris in the background.
I met Clare and Christopher for some getting ready at their apartment place de la contre escarpe in the 5th arrondissement. Clare was a little nervous of course! The day went by so quickly as always with a lot of very special moments with a little tear and lost of love. They married at the chapel Expiatoire early afternoon. We went around the city for a photo tour to some of my favorite landmarks. Oh we were so caught up in having so much fun and taking photographs that Christopher had to run back a couple of times to fetch the bridal bouquet that we had left behind. Clare had requested some photos at a “merry go round” so we started the afternoon at the Trocadero, then off we went for a few shots with the Eiffel tower in the background, the bridges, the Seine, place de la Concorde, Rue de Castiglione and so on before we said goodbye and dropped them off  at the Georges V for their wedding diner.
I have just looked at the unique Paris wedding video that Marko put together for our couple. It is shot beautifully and shows their wedding day in a very natural manner. Quite perfect! Happy wedding couple, happy crew, it is such a blessing to get to meet couples flying to Paris for their wedding, some quite large with family and friends attending and other more intimate like Clare and Christopher’s elopement.

Hope you all enjoy some of the wedding photos and the video of our couple very special day in Paris. It always bring back many beautiful memories to look into one of our wedding visuals again. I wish them both a wonderful life together filled with love and laughters.
